our story
MANY Bookkeeping was started in 2012 by Victoria. The goal was, and still is, to provide bookkeeping and accountancy services to sole traders and small businesses.
Victoria was aware that smaller businesses were overlooked by larger accountancy firms and realised there was a gap in the market for an accountancy practice that had small business at its heart and wanted to help them succeed. Whilst taking away all the stress and effort of looking after their accountancy needs Victoria also knew that as HMRC embraced technology everything would eventually be moved online so it was important to make sure clients were prepared. Knowing that you are up to date, compliant and meeting your deadlines is invaluable.


the way we work
We do as much online as possible, from meetings (via Zoom), ID checks (via AmiqusID) as well as the obvious accounting (using Quickbooks and Xero) and we store and upload documents for signature using our online client portal. Working online in this way gives our clients more flexibility. If we need documents uploaded to the portal or a signature on a tax return, you have the freedom to do it when you have time rather than having to find time in your working day to come in to see us.
We are more than happy to welcome clients to our office. If you prefer a face to face meeting or want to drop some paperwork off just let us know when you’re planning to pop in so we can put the kettle on.

HMRC are ‘Making Tax Digital’. This means that over the coming years every individual and business that has to submit a tax return must use some form of software to submit the information to them. We want to make sure that when this happens the impact to our clients is minimal and making sure suitable software is in place as early as possible.
Where you are looking for more than just an annual tax return we use GoProposal ® pricing software to calculate a price for the services you require using data from your business. This means the fees for work such as bookkeeping are reflected accurately based on transaction volume, and frequency and these are clearly laid out for you. You only pay for the service you need and require.
Yes we can. We can offer advice on the different options and look after setting it up for you and making sure you have all the necessary HMRC schemes in place.
Yes, once we are authorised we can speak with HMRC on your behalf if required.
No, as all the software we use is online (cloud) we don’t need to visit clients offices to complete the work. We are happy to arrange meetings as required which can take place in our office, via zoom, at your place of work or a local café if you prefer somewhere neutral.
That depends on the services you choose. We don’t bundle our services in to a package, we talk it through with you to make sure you receive the service you need and require. We’ll happily provide a no obligation quote so why not get in touch.
As you will appreciate the work involved when we’re preparing your accounts and tax return is dependant on the volume of transactions and the level of completeness we receive it in. There are many factors that can alter a fee so the easiest way to find out is to get in touch and we will provide you with a quote. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
