Tax Returns
From self assessment to corporation tax
who needs to complete a tax return
Every individual who doesn’t have all their income taxed at source (eg wages) must complete a self assessment tax return and all businesses must submit annual tax returns to HMRC. We take the stress away and make sure these are accurate and claim all available allowances for you.

self assessment & partnerships
Every year your tax return is completed for the year to 5th April and it must be submitted and any tax due paid by 31st January the following year. We will prepare your tax return and provide you with a full breakdown and explanation of any tax due.
corporation tax
For companies and CICs the dates for submission are 12 months after your financial year end but your tax needs to be paid nine months after your year end. We make sure you know your deadlines and that everything is filed in time.

frequently asked questions
HMRC are ‘Making Tax Digital’. This means that over the coming years every individual and business that has to submit a tax return must use some form of software to submit the information to them. We want to make sure that when this happens the impact to our clients is minimal and making sure suitable software is in place as early as possible.
Where you are looking for more than just an annual tax return we use GoProposal ® pricing software to calculate a price for the services you require using data from your business. This means the fees for work such as bookkeeping are reflected accurately based on transaction volume, and frequency and these are clearly laid out for you. You only pay for the service you need and require.
Yes we can. We can offer advice on the different options and look after setting it up for you and making sure you have all the necessary HMRC schemes in place.
Yes, once we are authorised we can speak with HMRC on your behalf if required.
No, as all the software we use is online (cloud) we don’t need to visit clients offices to complete the work. We are happy to arrange meetings as required which can take place in our office, via zoom, at your place of work or a local café if you prefer somewhere neutral.
That depends on the services you choose. We don’t bundle our services in to a package, we talk it through with you to make sure you receive the service you need and require. We’ll happily provide a no obligation quote so why not get in touch.
As you will appreciate the work involved when we’re preparing your accounts and tax return is dependant on the volume of transactions and the level of completeness we receive it in. There are many factors that can alter a fee so the easiest way to find out is to get in touch and we will provide you with a quote. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
